Ask me anything about it.
One person makes this, so you are writing to them rather than to a support queue. That means replies take a day or two rather than minutes, and it also means the answer comes from whoever can actually fix the thing you are asking about.
Send a message
No account, no email address of mine to harvest, and nothing kept beyond what you write here. If you want a reply, leave an address; if you are just telling me something, you do not have to.
Some things have a better address
- A bug, or something that will not caption. Open an issue on GitHub if you have an account. The code is public, so a report there can be answered with a commit, and other people hitting the same thing find it. The form is fine too if you would rather not.
- A refund, a receipt or a licence you cannot find. Gumroad is the merchant of record and holds all of that, so their support resolves it faster than I can. The 14-day refund needs no explanation and no conversation with me.
- An access need this does not meet. Worth writing about, and worth writing even if the answer is no. Several things on the site say plainly what the app cannot do, and that list came from the same kind of message.
- A language it does not handle yet. Tell me which one. It is useful to know what people are actually waiting for rather than guessing from a model's capability list.

vs Apple Live Captions
macOS has this built in and free. Where it stops being enough.
Zoom
Captions without the host switching anything on.
Microsoft Teams
Captions that do not depend on what your tenant's admin allows.
Google Meet
On-device captions, and no Workspace tier to be on.
Slack huddles
Captions with no workspace app to get approved.
Lectures
Captions live, rather than once the recording is processed.
Podcasts
Captions for the shows that never had a transcript.
vs Granola and notes apps
Complementary, not alternatives. Notes after, captions during.
